Managing The Performance Horse
I found this event, put on by the Equine Society at Writtle, really inspiring and thought-provoking in terms of my career aspirations.
The event included a number of speakers, each experts in their chosen field, discussing a range of factors that influence the performance horse. These factors ranged from anatomy, biomechanics and rider influence to lameness. Each speaker was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job in relaying information to the audience in an easy-to-understand way, while still keeping everything interesting and professional.
I found this really inspiring in terms of teaching, and the ability to educate a room really appealed to me, especially with the inclusion of recent research and new discoveries.
